Gutters & Gutter Guards
Gutters have one job: catch the water coming off the roof and carry it well away from the house. When they are undersized, clogged, pulling away or draining right next to the foundation, that water ends up in your basement, under your slab or behind your fascia. RossBuilt installs seamless gutters, downspouts and gutter guards built for the heavy downpours we get in St. Louis.
Gutter services
- Seamless aluminum gutters formed on site to fit your home
- 5-inch and 6-inch gutter profiles, with oversized 3×4 downspouts where needed

Why seamless gutters
Sectional gutters leak at every joint eventually. Seamless gutters are formed in one continuous run per wall, so the only seams are at the corners and end caps. Fewer seams means fewer leaks, less maintenance and a cleaner look from the street.
Sized for the roof, not just the house
A steep roof with a big valley dumps a lot of water into one corner. We look at roof size, pitch and where valleys drain before choosing gutter size and downspout locations. Many older St. Louis homes have 5-inch gutters and too few downspouts; stepping up to 6-inch gutters with larger downspouts often solves overflow for good.
Gutter guards
If you have mature oaks, maples or sweetgums nearby, you already know how fast gutters fill up each fall. A good gutter guard keeps leaves and seed pods out while letting water in, which means fewer trips up the ladder and fewer overflow problems. No guard is completely maintenance-free, and we will be straight with you about which type fits your trees and your roof.
Signs your gutters need work
- Water spilling over the front edge during a storm
- Gutters sagging or pulling away from the fascia
- Peeling paint, stains or rot on the fascia boards
- Puddles, erosion or mulch washing out below the gutters
- Damp or leaking basement walls on one side of the house
